I have had an electric bike for about 5 years as a conversion. I really like the new rear mounted light weight battery on the new bike. I find the larger tires to be a big plus from my previous bike. Also I want to exercise so the “pedal-assist” is much better for me that simply a motor that I can activate with my thumb. Peter and the team provide a great service!

I really like the Lo-Rise concept and the ability to easily step on to the bike. I also like the seated position design on the bike with the handlebar. I love the fact that I get exercise but the “pedal-assist” gives me the extra support especially when I get to hills. We often use our bikes to ride a local rail trail but to get back to the house we have a steep hill to climb. With the e-bike I can simply peddle my way up the hill.

I rode 6 miles in the snow today on the Ebike. The battery had only 40% left when I started and it still made it in the snow in the most power hungry mode. I rode for about an hour and it still had 10-15% battery left. The tires held on very well in the snow and ice and I didn't fall over once! What a machine!!!

My first impression of this E bike that stood out to me was the craftsmanship. I rode for about 30 miles total on a full battery from Ohioville Consignment in New Paltz , to the Dutchess Rail Trail in Poughkeepsie NY, just a few miles past the Walkway Over The Hudson. I was also impressed with the battery life, I was using the E bike on the highest gear "5" going there. On the way back I kept it on "3" and had less than half battery life. This E bike gets an average of 25-35 miles depending on what gear you set it to. But overall super impressed with the Genuine Shimano hydraulic breaks so if you need to stop the E bike at anytime you can even if the petal assist is on.

About 1 week ago I visited Peter Di Capua at his shop at 168 South Street ,Highland, NY. The shop is very impressive and clean with machinery for his full time job. We discussed bike repair and electric bikes. Pete was the friendliest and most informative person. He demonstrated different electric bikes and suggested the best bike for me and my wife Carol. We were so impressed that we purchased 2 bikes right then and there. His friendliness and knowledge made me comfortable in purchasing bikes from him with the knowledge that any problem we might have will be promptly made at reasonable cost. In addition, we left my wife's regular bike the to be serviced there. I am so glad I had the forethought to look up his company at 168 South Street, Highland, NY which is also close to where we live.
